We are in the house
After 2 1/2 years we are finally officially in our new house. As most of you know we've been living here for over two months but we have now passed all of our inspections and are officially allowed to live here.
It has been an incredibly long process but very rewarding. We've got a ton of great help and have actually managed to build a house from the ground up. I am so thankful to everyone who lent a hand, gave us some advice or encouragement, or said some prayers for us. We will forever appreciate it.

Just more pictures
The girls enjoyed the big snows we've had this fall.
Melissa's counter tops are in and we are close to moving into the house.
Had a chance to hang with Mason this evening

Okay, more pictures...
I know everyone is wanting more Mason pictures but I haven't posted for a long while so we need to go back in time a little...We had a fun day at the park a few weeks ago.
We got some great help with the electrical at the house and...
We now have outlets, lights, fans and baseboard heaters!
We also had one last chance for a family picture before Mason arrived...
After that it was off to the hospital. Mason showed up after one push at 1:16am on the 28th. He was 8 pounds 6 ounces and 19 1/4 inches long. He has more hair than either of the girls did. He is a little heavier and a bit shorter than they were.
Later that day the girls got to meet Mason...
After a couple of long days an exhausted Mom and Son returned home.

Shiny Floor - Muddy kids
The girls had fun playing in the mud after the rain on Tuesday. Maybe too much fun...
We did the first coat on the floor tonight. Melissa's dad will buff it an do a couple more tomorrow and it will be done.

Lot of work - lot of pictures
We've done a bit of work since my last post. It has taken a little longer to post because we've been without internet since one of our huge rainstorms.
Melissa is doing well. We can't slow her down. She is going into week 37 and no Mason yet. We have a doctors appt. on Monday so maybe more info on that later this week.
The girls got to paint their room with colors they picked out. Pink and orange were the obvious choices.
During all of our late July rains we had some drainage issues so we got a backhoe and Melissa's dad put an end to our flooding issues.
The girls love all the little jobs we give them. They were helping clean up the slate tile dad and I put in the hall bath and the mud room.
The hickory wood floor is now in. We had a group effort led by Melissa's dad and we got it installed in a few days. We still need to sand and finish it but it really is making the place look like a home.
