No, that is not how long we've been working on the house. It has been 12 wonderful years of marriage to an amazing woman and mother.
Melissa wanted water for our anniversary and a day early she got it. We've been so excited that the hose has been going on one project or another all weekend.
I wanted a tree, or many trees, and I got my wish also. Melissa and the girls got me a great tree which Mara and I planted on Friday.
Mom, dad and I worked on the rock on the front of the house and unfortunately ran out mortar. We were making good progress before that. Mom was giving the orders and it is looking good so far. We also are ready for our plumbing and framing inspections this week. With some luck we will be sheet rocking by next weekend. Progress is good!

Mara, you make the rock on the front of the house look extra nice. I also like the tree you helped your daddy plant.
We were all truly blessed 12 yrs ago when you and Melissa married. You have given us 2 of the most precious granddaughters and soon to be our 1st grandson. Also, very vivid in my mind is 38 years ago when we had you. It was Memorial Day and also Trinidad Catholics Graduation. Dad was teaching at Trinidad Catholic at the time and he was supposed to be there for sommething or another, BUT, he had been at the hospital all night with you and me. By the time he arrived, the BISHOP had already announced to everyone your arrival. You were named after your grandpa Salbato. You have always made us proud. Happy Birthday, Mike We love you.
Happy Birthday Mike and Happy Anniversary to the two of you. The rock looks awesome!! We love trees too. We've already planted 9 but maybe could use a couple more. :)
Happy Anniversay, Happy Birthday and the house is looking great! I love the looks of the front door and stone!
Happy Belated Anniversary! The house is looking GREAT!!! Ted and I are total tree conisuerres (I'm sure that's NOT how it's spelled!) and it looks like you picked a great one!
